Role Overview
Cogniter Technologies is seeking a skilled and results-driven Software Engineer (.NET) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle and demonstrate the ability to build secure, scalable, and high-performing applications. This role requires close collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders to transform business requirements into efficient and reliable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy robust .NET-based applications with end-to-end ownership

Build and maintain solutions using ASP.NET, MVC, C#, SQL Server, and other Microsoft technologies

Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices

Manage multiple assignments effectively and deliver projects within defined timelines

Analyze functional and technical requirements to design scalable and optimized solutions

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical and performance issues

Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in .NET development with exposure to the complete project lifecycle

Strong proficiency in ASP.NET, MVC, C#, SQL Server, and related Microsoft technologies

Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
