  Are you passionate about building cutting-edge voice and video communication systems? Cogniter Technologies is seeking a UCaaS Developer to join our growing team in Chandigarh. In this role, you'll work on designing and developing scalable, secure, and real-time communication solutions for global clients, leveraging the latest WebRTC, media server technologies, and unified communications platforms.

  Key Responsibilities

   

  Development & Integration

  • Develop WebRTC-based applications using platforms like Jitsi, Janus, or Zoom SDKs

  • Build and manage media servers for real-time video and audio communication

  • Create backend services using Node.js for signaling, session control, and orchestration

  • Integrate with third-party communication platforms such as Twilio, Vonage, and Microsoft Teams

  • Implement and troubleshoot RTC protocols including SIP, VoIP, STUN, TURN, and ICE

  Performance & Security

  • Optimize systems for low-latency and high-quality media performance

  • Ensure secure communication through encryption, signaling protection, and data integrity

  • Address networking challenges including NAT traversal and packet loss

  Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with frontend developers to implement seamless WebRTC experiences

  • Support real-time production environments with monitoring, debugging, and issue resolution

  Required Skills & Qualifications

   

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with WebRTC and media server technologies

  • Proficient in Node.js and microservices architecture

  • Strong understanding of RTC protocols: VoIP, SIP, STUN, TURN, ICE, RTP, RTSP, HLS, DASH

  • Experience integrating APIs from Twilio, Vonage, or Microsoft Teams

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

  • Deep understanding of WebRTC security and media optimization

  Bonus Skills

   

  • Experience with AI-based enhancements: noise suppression, speech analytics

  • Familiarity with real-time communication frameworks like WebSockets, Socket.IO

  • Knowledge of cloud-native deployment and scalable media architectures
