  About the Role

   

  Cogniter Technologies is looking for a skilled and creative iOS Developer to join our mobile app development team. You will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly native iOS applications using Objective-C and Swift. This role offers the opportunity to work on both consumer and enterprise-level apps deployed globally.

  Key Responsibilities

   

  • Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Objective-C, Swift, and Xcode

  • Implement key features including GPS, multithreading, offline data handling, and animations

  • Build intuitive, responsive UIs using Interface Builder, Google MapKit, and custom components

  • Integrate RESTful APIs, local databases (SQLite), and third-party SDKs

  • Debug, test, and optimize app performance for stability and speed

  • Ensure compatibility across multiple iOS versions and device types

  • Adhere to Apple’s guidelines for development, testing, and App Store deployment

  Must-Have Skills

   

  • Strong hands-on experience with Objective-C, Swift, and C++

  • Proficient in object-oriented programming and design principles

  • Skilled with Xcode, iOS SDKs, and UI development tools

  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills

  • Experience with multithreading, Google Maps SDK, and integration of third-party libraries

  • Familiarity with REST/JSON/XML APIs and local/offline data storage

  • A portfolio of 5–6 published iOS apps (App Store links required)

  Bonus Points For

   

  • Experience with enterprise-grade iOS applications

  • Knowledge of OpenGL, Core Animation (3D), or mobile gaming frameworks

  • Understanding of app security, performance tuning, and memory management

  • Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and advanced data parsing
