  About the Role

   

  Cogniter Technologies is looking for an experienced and results-driven SEO Specialist – Client Handling to join our digital marketing team.

  The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SEO strategy, technical and on-page optimization, keyword research, competitor analysis, performance reporting, and client communication. The role requires someone who can independently manage multiple client accounts, understand business objectives, and translate SEO data into effective strategies that drive sustainable organic growth.

  Key Responsibilities

   

  • Develop and implement customized SEO strategies aligned with client goals, target audiences, and business objectives.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and maintain strong, professional relationships.

  • Communicate SEO strategies, progress, challenges, and performance results clearly to clients.

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, technical SEO audits, and website analysis.

  • Perform on-page SEO activities, including optimization of meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, content, internal linking, URLs, and website structure.

  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues affecting website visibility, crawling, indexing, and performance.

  • Develop and execute effective off-page SEO and link-building strategies while maintaining quality and relevance.

  • Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, backlinks, and other key SEO performance metrics.

  • Analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.

  • Prepare and present regular SEO performance reports with key insights, achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations.

  • Identify opportunities for improving organic visibility, traffic, engagement, and conversions.

  • Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, industry developments, and emerging best practices.

  • Collaborate with content writers, developers, designers, and digital marketing teams to implement SEO recommendations.

  • Manage multiple client accounts and ensure campaigns are delivered within defined timelines and quality standards.

  Required Skills & Qualifications

   

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably with client-handling experience.

  • Strong understanding of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO, Local SEO, and Link Building.

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Google Analytics

    • Google Search Console

    • SEMrush

    • Ahrefs

    • Moz

  • Strong understanding of keyword research, competitor analysis, website audits, backlink analysis, and SEO reporting.

  • Good understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong client-handling abilities.

  • Ability to explain SEO concepts, strategies, and performance metrics to clients in a clear and professional manner.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and campaign targets.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-focused approach.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  Preferred Skills

   

  • Experience managing international SEO campaigns and overseas clients.

  • Familiarity with WordPress and other CMS platforms.

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure.

  • Knowledge of Google Business Profile and Local SEO.

  • Experience with SEO reporting and dashboard tools such as Looker Studio.

  • Understanding of SEO content strategy and content optimization.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered SEO and digital marketing tools is an added advantage.
