  Key Responsibilities

   

  1. Application Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the CodeIgniter PHP framework.

  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between backend systems and user interfaces.

  2. Code Optimization

  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

  • Proactively identify and resolve bugs, inefficiencies, and performance bottlenecks.

  3. Database Management

  • Design, implement, and optimize secure and high-performance relational databases.

  • Develop and manage complex SQL queries to support features, analytics, and reporting.

  4. API Integration

  • Integrate third-party APIs and external services to enhance application capabilities.

  • Ensure all APIs are secure, efficient, and well-documented.

  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, and QA teams during the entire development lifecycle.

  • Actively participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and effort estimation meetings.

  6. Code Review & Quality Assurance

  • Perform thorough code reviews to maintain quality, consistency, and adherence to team standards.

  • Mentor junior developers and provide constructive feedback when required.

  7. Testing & Debugging

  • Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure performance and reliability.

  • Efficiently troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.

  8. Documentation

  • Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date technical documentation for codebases, APIs, and processes.

  9. Continuous Learning & Improvement

  • Stay updated with advancements in PHP, CodeIgniter, and web development technologies.

  • Recommend and implement process and technology improvements to boost efficiency and quality.

  Requirements

   

  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer with expertise in CodeIgniter framework.

  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

  • Experience in integrating APIs and working with third-party services.

  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  Preferred Qualifications

   

  • Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.

  • Understanding of RESTful API architecture.

  • Exposure to cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
