  About the Role

   

   

  Cogniter Technologies is looking for an experienced and results-driven SEO Specialist – Client Handling to join our digital marketing team.

  The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SEO strategy, technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimization, keyword research, competitor analysis, performance reporting, and client management.

  In this role, you will independently manage multiple client accounts, understand business objectives, develop effective SEO strategies, communicate recommendations with clients, and drive sustainable improvements in organic visibility, traffic, leads, and conversions.

  Key Responsibilities

   

   

  • Develop and implement customized SEO strategies aligned with client goals, target audiences, industry trends, and business objectives.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and build strong, long-term professional relationships.

  • Communicate SEO strategies, campaign progress, performance, challenges, and recommendations clearly and effectively to clients.

  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitor analysis, technical SEO audits, and website analysis.

  • Implement on-page SEO strategies, including optimization of meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, content, internal linking, URLs, and website structure.

  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues related to crawling, indexing, site structure, website performance, usability, and search visibility.

  • Develop and execute effective off-page SEO and link-building strategies while maintaining quality, relevance, and compliance with search engine guidelines.

  • Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, backlinks, and other key SEO performance indicators.

  • Analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.

  • Prepare and present regular SEO performance reports covering key metrics, insights, achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve organic visibility, website traffic, user engagement, leads, and conversions.

  • Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, search industry developments, and emerging best practices.

  • Collaborate with content writers, developers, designers, and digital marketing teams to implement SEO recommendations.

  • Manage multiple client accounts and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and according to defined quality standards.

  • Proactively monitor campaign performance and recommend data-driven optimization strategies.

  • Take ownership of client campaigns from strategy and implementation through reporting and performance improvement.

  Required Skills & Qualifications

   

   

  • 2–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably with proven client-handling experience.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • On-Page SEO

    • Off-Page SEO

    • Technical SEO

    • Local SEO

    • Link Building

    • Keyword Research

    • Competitor Analysis

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Google Analytics

    • Google Search Console

    • SEMrush

    • Ahrefs

    • Moz

  • Strong understanding of SEO audits, backlink analysis, website optimization, ranking factors, and SEO reporting.

  • Good understanding of search engine algorithms and current SEO best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong client-handling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

  • Ability to explain SEO strategies, concepts, data, and performance metrics to clients in a clear and professional manner.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

  • Ability to independently manage multiple client accounts and SEO campaigns.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  Preferred Skills

   

   

  • Experience managing international SEO campaigns and overseas clients.

  • Familiarity with WordPress and other CMS platforms.

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure.

  • Knowledge of Google Business Profile and Local SEO.

  • Experience with Looker Studio or other reporting and dashboard platforms.

  • Understanding of SEO content strategy and content optimization.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered SEO and digital marketing tools is an added advantage.

  • Experience presenting SEO strategies, insights, and recommendations directly to clients.

  • Experience working with multiple industries, websites, and SEO campaign types.
