    About the Role

     

    Cogniter Technologies is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our sales team. This role is well-suited for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who want to build a career in IT sales, client acquisition, and international business development. The position offers hands-on exposure to global clients along with structured training in sales techniques, communication, and negotiation.


    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Identify and generate new business opportunities through platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, and LinkedIn

    • Assist in preparing proposals, handling client communication, and responding to business inquiries

    • Support lead generation activities including email outreach, follow-ups, and prospect nurturing

    • Coordinate with internal teams to understand project requirements and maintain clear client communication

    • Maintain and update lead and client information in CRM systems

    • Support the sales team in achieving monthly targets and overall business objectives

    • Participate in training sessions to gain knowledge of company services, sales processes, and market trends


    Required Skills & Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Good interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation abilities

    • Basic understanding of IT services or digital marketing is an added advantage

    • Self-motivated, quick learner, and comfortable using modern sales tools

    • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
