    About the Role

     

    Cogniter Technologies is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and candidates with up to one year of experience who are passionate about sales, client acquisition, and business growth.

    As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and contributing to the company's domestic and international business development efforts.

    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Generate new business opportunities through platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, LinkedIn, and other lead generation channels.

    • Identify and qualify potential clients through research, cold emailing, networking, and online prospecting.

    • Prepare proposals, quotations, presentations, and business documents for prospective clients.

    • Conduct email campaigns, follow-ups, and lead nurturing activities.

    • Coordinate with technical and project teams to understand client requirements and prepare suitable solutions.

    • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in CRM tools.

    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.

    • Support the sales team in achieving revenue targets and business objectives.

    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.

    Required Skills

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related discipline.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

    • Basic understanding of IT services, software development, or digital marketing concepts.

    • Good knowledge of MS Office and internet research.

    • Familiarity with CRM tools and email communication platforms is an advantage.

    • Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn.

    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

    Preferred Skills

     

    • Internship, freelance, or prior experience in business development, sales, marketing, or customer service.

    • Familiarity with online bidding platforms such as Upwork and Freelancer.

    • Understanding of lead generation strategies and international sales processes.

    • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools will be an added advantage.
