  Are you passionate about building cutting-edge voice and video communication systems? Cogniter Technologies is hiring a UCaaS Developer to join our growing team in Chandigarh. In this role, you will design and develop scalable, secure, and real-time communication solutions for clients around the globe, using the latest in WebRTC, media server technology, and unified communications platforms.

  Key Responsibilities

   

  Development & Integration

  • Develop WebRTC-based applications using platforms like Jitsi, Janus, or Zoom SDKs

  • Build and manage media servers to enable real-time video and audio communication

  • Create backend services with Node.js for signaling, session management, and orchestration

  • Integrate with third-party platforms such as Twilio, Vonage, and Microsoft Teams

  • Implement and troubleshoot RTC protocols including SIP, VoIP, STUN, TURN, and ICE

  Performance & Security

  • Optimize communication systems for low latency and high-quality media performance

  • Implement best practices for media encryption, signaling security, and overall data protection

  • Address NAT traversal and other networking challenges in real-time environments

  Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless WebRTC integration

  • Provide support and troubleshooting for production environments involving real-time features

  Required Skills & Qualifications

   

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with WebRTC and media server technologies

  • Proficient in Node.js and microservices architecture

  • Strong knowledge of VoIP, SIP, STUN, TURN, ICE, and media streaming protocols (e.g., RTSP, RTP, HLS, DASH)

  • Experience integrating with platforms like Twilio, Vonage, or Microsoft Teams

  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Understanding of WebRTC security protocols and media optimization techniques

  Bonus Skills

   

  • Exposure to AI-powered communication enhancements (e.g., noise suppression, speech analytics)

  • Experience with real-time messaging frameworks (e.g., WebSockets, Socket.IO)

  • Knowledge of cloud-native deployment and scalable media server architectures
