Cogniter Technologies is seeking a Manual Tester / QA Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our QA team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing requirements, preparing and executing test cases, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, bug-free solutions. You’ll work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to guarantee project success.
Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze project requirement documents for accuracy and completeness

Collaborate with Project Managers and Developers to define scope and requirements

Design, document, and execute test cases and scenarios

Track client feedback and ensure timely implementation of changes

Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing

Report, document, and track bugs/issues thoroughly

Review and validate reports prepared by junior testers

Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery

Follow and enhance company QA processes, contributing to continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

2–5 years of proven experience as a Manual Tester / QA Engineer

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes

Ability to write clear and comprehensive test cases and bug reports

Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, Bugzilla, etc.)

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently

Knowledge of basic SQL queries for data validation (a plus)
