    About the Role

    Cogniter Technologies is looking for a proactive and results-driven Online Bidder / Business Development Executive to join our expanding sales team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in generating business through online bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and LinkedIn. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, preparing compelling proposals, managing client communication, and ensuring successful project closures.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and bid on relevant projects through platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour, and LinkedIn.

    • Generate qualified leads and convert them into profitable business opportunities.

    • Draft professional proposals, cover letters, and project estimations tailored to client requirements.

    • Communicate with clients to understand project details, timelines, and deliverables.

    • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate project scoping and smooth execution.

    • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business.

    • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

    • Keep up with market trends, competitive pricing, and emerging technologies.


    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

    • 1–4 years of proven experience as an Online Bidder, BDE, or BDM in an IT company.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong understanding of web and mobile app development services.

    • Ability to negotiate, handle client objections, and close deals effectively.

    • Highly self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.


    Good to Have

    • Experience using CRM tools or lead management systems.

    • Understanding of digital marketing, design, or software development processes.

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
