About the Role
Cogniter Technologies is seeking a proactive and skilled Online Bidder / Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in generating business through online portals such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and LinkedIn. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, handling client communication, and ensuring successful project closures.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and bid on relevant projects on portals like Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, PeoplePerHour, and LinkedIn.

Generate leads and convert them into potential business opportunities.

Prepare well-structured proposals, cover letters, and project estimations as per client requirements.

Manage client communication—clarify project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

Work closely with the technical team to ensure accurate scope understanding and delivery planning.

Maintain long-term relationships with clients and ensure repeat business.

Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly business targets.

Stay updated with market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.

Proven experience (1–4 years) as an Online Bidder, BDE, or BDM in an IT company.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong understanding of IT services, including web and mobile app development.

Ability to negotiate, handle client objections, and close deals effectively.

Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
